Chasing Kings
Chasing Kings is an Indie-Pop band from Los Angeles, CA. Consisting of Draw Beck (guitars/vocals), Mic Goldman (bass/vocals), Knick Sandler (drums)and Matte Schwartz (vocals/keys).
Combining infectious melodies, danceable vintage grooves and a unique quarkiness, in November 2008 the group enlisted producer and L.A. indie-alt namesake Tony Berg (Mellowdrone, Jesca Hoop, Pete Yorn, Simon Dawes, Phantom Planet) to record their first full-length album. The collection of songs were entirely pre-produced using iChat while members Drew, Matthew and Nicholas were in Boston, MA and bassist Mike Goldman was in Malibu still finishing high school.
The bands first self released E.P. entitled “The Current State of our Future” will be available digitally in late August as well as at their shows.
