Shelley Star & the Galaxy has been making waves in the DMV music scene since 2022, combining vibrant pop-rock melodies with theatrical flair. Fronted by the enigmatic Shelley Star, the band takes its inspiration from the cosmos, drag, and musical icons like Lady Gaga, ABBA, and The Killers. Known for their out-of-this-world live performances, Shelley Star & the Galaxy rocked Fairfax Pride 2023 and placed second in Band Battle #25 at Jammin Java. Their debut album released in February 2024 delivers an explosive fusion of pop, rock, and glam.
